I’m coming around to thinking that my favourite time in Scotland is – well when it’s dry of course – but also the winter.Nearly every August time  I have this tendency to become all melancholic, feeling the summer slipping away and dreading the long winter months but when I survive this and autumn turns to winter I find myself relishing the colours;, the ;black bare trees, the white mountains that accentuate the blueness of the sky – yes that’s on a dry day in Scotland.
